We've stayed at Cite Europe several times; convenient and free! You can just turn up, close blinds and have a nap before pushing on!
It's been well lit and with only a few motorhome-less...

Weight issue!
I agree that the Thule is an excellent system, but the additional weight of Towbar + Rack + Bikex2 + Tagalong trailer (for the dog. Don't ask!) + additional equipment has used up much of our Tio RL's...
