cilkad Don't wildcamp in Triglav National Park or around Bled and Bohinj - our wardens are terrible and fines are hight. They can come very early in the morning. In other parts of the country you should be OK.
September is a perfect time to come - it's not so hot anymore and no so busy.
By the way, we have had 14 days of very very hot weather, no rain for more than 3 weeks and the weather forecast is sunny and very hot. It's still 28 degrees now at midnight. The temperature of the sea is also 28.
Now we are all looking forward to some rain.

Hi Pete,

No, we didn't. We were doing our "10 countries in 21 days" tour and opted for campsites. However I imagine you could Wild easily in the Trigav National Park and also around Bled - we saw many vans parked outside the campsite, using the free WiFi!
