I must not answer this thread😂
What time is it in Tasmania at the moment?
No, not after that - a travel companion. Someone to speak English to, share sights and the mundane tasks. Also costs.
I think the more you make a joke of serious posts in this thread, the less likely people are to use it. Is that why itís dead? All the comfortably married people have scared the single people off?
|Pudsey_Bear||Hmm, anticipating your needs a bit, but would a nice blond, with a large frontage, 3 foot high, flat head, no teeth, and a brewery owner be any good to you?|
|wfdTamar||Find me one that can speak French and doesn't mind being locked up for oh, 6-8 months without being fed over winter. Also I don't like dogs (should've said that in my first post).|
|Pudsey_Bear||Might be better getting a nice rescue dog, always pleased to see you, cheap to run and doesn't argue.|
Maybe that's why this section has died.
Well of course you'd want to interrogate each other first and do short trips first if you even passed that test. It would work both ways I think. Blimey, I couldn't think of anything worse than being cooped up in a van with someone you didn't get on with. It might even be a 'drive the vans in a convoy' type of thing. That way you get your own space and possibility to bail, but share sightseeing or whatever.
I did a house sit in Brittany in June and the house owners gardener (who was English) came with me about every second day sight seeing and translating. That worked out fine.
I'm almost jealous but not quite as I'm not single. Ha ha.
