Hi, It's a while since I've been on here & things have changed a fair bit )
I'm looking for advice on how to receive more decent channels on my telly. My original setup used a 12V sky box connected to the TV via a scart lead. All good until the original telly (Avtex) developed a fault & I replaced this with another Avtex with a built in "Free to air" receiver. The Oyster 2 connects straight into the TV & there's no scart input so the Sky box was redundant. When I replaced this about 8 years ago there seemed to be a handful of good channels on the free to air system but the majority of the channels that were broadcasting have now stopped or have degenerated into casino, online shopping or quiz shows.
How do I go about getting a more sensible selection of channels to watch?
NB. One thing I've not tried is re-tuning. If this is an option I'll give it a go.
Thanks in advance, Dave.
