Hi!
I have bought used 2008 Winnebago Destination. The price was amazing, however it was so due to the fact that the vehicle requires a serious work. The external bits and a furniture are a no-brainer and easy enough to manage on my own (alright, with a little help from my friends). However I have some questions regarding the internal work. Mainly the gas and electrical installation and A/C. Are there any special documents required? Do I have to report it somewhere or is everything my decision?

Isnt that just what always happens. Out of all the things you've been saving for 'just in case' that's the stuff needed the week after you've disposed of it! Life's a beach...

I am not sure if there is any legal requirement, but it would be a good idea to have any work (gas or electrical) that you carry out checked, and signed off, by a qualified person. That might be a requirement if any insurance as well.

What's the power plant in your RV? Have you looked at what it's MPG is likely to be?

I think it's a 340hp V8 petrol Andy. Depending on right foot weight he could get between 10 to 14mpg.

Ray.
