shingi Are you happy with the garage’s assessment, as completely off the top of my head I think I might first suspect the DPF has got “gummed up”

jiwawa Doesn't the engine warning light cover a whole lot of possibilities? Maybe the error needs to be 'read' to see what it says this time.

Engine warning light

My 2010 Ducato 160 multi jet has an engine warning light which the garage told me is the throttle valve. As this is quite easy to remove I have done this job myself and on removal and subsequent strip I found a lot of rust in the mechanism, which I have cleaned and refitted. I have had the warning light cleared but on returning the dreaded light came on again. Any ideas would be welcome or is it a case of fitting a new throttle valve/body.
