|Pat-H||No markings on the stock charger. Just a plain vented black box.|

The charger just pumps onto the 12v bus so how can it do maintenance?
i was wondering what charger you have in your swift
|Pat-H||Not Cheap £300 or so for a 30A smart charger.|

Replace swift 12V charger
Anyone replaced the stock Swift (Lifestyle 590RS) battery charger with a smart charger?
If left on mains hook up the leisure battery boils dry.
I'm replacing with a VRLA AGM
But suspect a more modern charger would be smarter than the stock unit.
Of course the charger also needs to supply 12V to the MH loads when on hookup.
