jiwawa They also said a few had had problems with wet in the garage from the freshwater tank but, I think, only when overfilling which I haven't done in a very long time.

jiwawa I've done that Mike. Apparently it's a storage area whose lid turns upside down and, if you opted for it, would have a bike rack on the other side.

I'm not sure why I can't lift mine - maybe the dampness has swelled (swollen?!) the lid.

There's an access trap within the MH but right in front of the garage. There's a screw-off lid there but I've never actually opened it. I suppose it's possible the fresh water tank goes down n back from there.

Is it likely it would be dropped in after the garage floor was fitted, and then enclosed by the removable lid? Seems counter-intuitive to me.

jiwawa I finally found someone with a bit of room in their garage and emptied my MH garage, took out the liner and have everything drying off (both garage doors open, windy n sunny tho that's due to change shortly so keeping a weather eye out).

Under the garage liner is an access lid but I can't shift it - I don't know if that's due to the lid swelling with damp or because it's held from below.

Has anyone any idea what this hatch leads to?

Hymer Exsis-i 504 garage door leak

I discovered the other day that the garage floor is wet and looking at the pattern of wet on the seals it seemed to be getting in at the hinge side, top hinge, off-side door.

The weather hasn't been suitable to empty n dry out so I've got one of these water absorption things in there (I've no socket in the garage to run my small dehumidifier).

From the pics it would seem that the seal's external lip is folded into the guard at the hinge - is this normal?

Obviously I'm very disappointed about this. Is it a known issue? An easy fix?
