JanHank I´ll let you into a secret, a few days ago I needed to send 3 scans off and did them all individually because I didn't know how to do it now I know

I also learnt how to copy a PDF or scanned document to be able to copy and paste it onto google translate.

I've found one for windows 10, so glad I have an iMac.

raynipper Jan, I take it all back. I had missed the 'tick-box' giving me the add or file options.
Thanks for guiding me back to the obvious. xxx

raynipper Thanks Jan. I had watched that video but it's for Epson XP-6100,XP-8500) NPD5852 and my WF-3720 "Epson Scan" software doesn't give me the same menu and ability to add pages.

JanHank Are you scanning direct from the scanner or from the computer ?

raynipper Now I find I can't scan multiple pages in one pdf file if they are not lose sheets like in a book. Only one at a time.
The old one was so easy.!
Any ideas Guys n Galls.?

raynipper New (and improved) all in one set up and working but it took me half a day to find out how to scan multiple pages into one pdf doc file.
The old one had a scan icon and after each page you could choose what to do next. Add, File, etc. But the new one only has a small screen with no options.

So after searching the 200 page manual and doing a couple of searches it transpires multiple pages have to loaded 'adc' slot on top. adc had me guessing for a minute or two. But even then it rounds up and saves before you can add or reverse the docs. So hardly an advance.

JanHank You've shown me yours so I´ll show you mine

I had to do a bit of techi work after I moved it and this was probably the trouble before why I couldn´t print from the computer, it scanned but wouldn't print said it couldn´t find the scanner. So I looked on tínternet and it said try to reset the printer which I did with the instructions on the screen how to do it. All fine now.
Is there any way you can reset the Epson or give it a dose of salts

Before and after. Why can´t I get photos uploaded from the phone the right way up no matter how many times I rotate them. Have to go to postimage I suppose.

JanHank I have just discovered since my new router yesterday I can once again operate My Canon scanner with wifi so now I can put it where I like, but I must admit its good having it right next to the computer even though its crowding the desk a bit.
Now thats given me another idea which I will carry out right now, move the sofa over and put the trolly next to the desk with Canon on top. See ya later.

raynipper Yes Barry, with nothing to loose but my time a large whack while up side down just might shake things back into place or right out. I did drop the return paper feed box from the back and it ended up in several bits. But flexible enough to pop back together.

Yes Jan, next job but as Drew says they are thrown together and with many springs to try and coral also lots of inky bits to try and avoid. But if I can find which bit is STIFF and free it off, who knows.

Your right really Drew and at times I often feel I'm wasting my time but can learn something in the process. Maybe learn not to waste time. But time is all I have now and the sense of achievement when it works again is a real buzz and 'high'.

The new one another Epson WF-3720 looks an ugly black box. Unlike the old one with buttons and a big screen. The big difference is the controls as before they were all easily seen on the computer and now it's a fiddley little LCD screen on the 'box' with multiple menus you really need a wand or pen to control.
But it copies and prints, sadly I haven't managed to control where I send the scans to but might happen in time. But it arrived in one day with a notification it's ready to pick up at local shop. And for €65 inc P&P can't be bad. But the replacement inks are more than twice the price of the old ones and don't look any different. But I guess there will be some small molding to stop the interchange.

So far so good thanks all for suggestions.
