Pudsey_Bear Cheap isn't enough on a disc which can be copied, it is also unsupported by MS.

I can't remember the last time I needed to buy any software, I rarely use anything unless it's freeware.

I'm surprised google don't do a similar thing to use offline but covers the known world, not just the bits you can have now which need to be updated.

Just thinking I've cleared a whole lot off my laptop since trying the last time so might be worth another punt....
All I can say is the one I chose downloaded and installed on two op systems with no problem at all.
The one I bought was from Joshudavie.

I didn't like the built in sat nav in our VW at first but it's grown on me and apart from inputting long & lat it does absolutely everything I could wish for.
But I have to admit to carrying a Garmin up behind the sun visor as well to show more accurate speed and radar cameras.

Ray.
We use our Tomtom for keeping an eye on the speed limits over here as they change ever couple of miles or so even on duel carriageways for no apparent reason. We got booked for speeding when not using the Tomtom but you don't get points on your license so I suppose that's why the majority of the Spanish seem to ignore the speed limits.

Aye, it's a bit of a Marmite philosophy!
Love or hate TT or love or hate Garmin!
