Herebelow our itinerary in Poland.
For our travel style we needed something more than two weeks.

Cesky Tesin (Czech Republic/Poland border)
Oswiecim (Auschwitz/Birkenau)
Krakow
Wieliczka (Salt mine)
Czestochowa (Jasna Gora Sanctuary)
Warsaw
Gdansk (motorboat trip to Westerplatte where World War II began suggested)
Sopot
Malbork (Teutonic order Castle)
Torun (City of Copernicus)
Poznan
Wroclaw
Zgorzelec (Poland/Germany border)

icer On our bucket list to see the wooden churches in south eastern Poland, they were worth it!

no particular route except non motorway as we are +3.5T

all of our Poland was off grid some really fantastic spots

Our biggest problems occured when we tried to match a stop to a restaurant it never seemed to work, for one reason or another, note to self, don't bother.

Having said that we had some fabulous meals at really good prices.

Snow halted looking at some of the minor churches but our thirst was quenched

We used quite minor roads at various times to varying degrees of success, we travelled for about 2 hours on a road which said no more than 15T it was beaten to death and then more. Others were brand new.

Last time we went to the Baltic Coast and met the beast from the East, we had popped

in to Jan/Hank to try and fix our fridge which was Kaput, in the end it was so cold it was not problem, until later on in Poland when we got +30 in Lodz

Polish Trip

Geoff.

You mentioned that +3.5T motorhomes are rare in Poland.
Just back from Poland No motorways taken and we did not see another motorhome on the road in the 2 weeks we were there.
Entered via Zittau down to Nowy Sacz over towards Gorlice where we hit snow, then just east of Jaroslaw and back via leszno and back into Germany at Bad Muskau.
Good trip

Ian
