Penquin Do NOT do as they say and stick inside the windscreen as it cannot removed if the screen needs to be replaced.

Stick it onto a sheet of thin transparent plastic and then put that inside the screen.

If you try to remove it the sticker always says "VOID" even if you try using with warm air, gentle piling and so on - your only option then is to reapply and pay again.....

As long as it is visible (ideally on the RIGHT HAND SIDE in front of the driver) the Police Municipale wil accept it.

Hi many thanks for all that ,sorry for delay decluttering van and home has taken over our life at present. I managed to get th file compressed due to an app recommended on the APP site and it worked, Within 3 days I had an email and attatchment from them an you are allowed to use this as proof. The areas are quite big for capture and the fines are large, so this has been well done. So many thanks again.

rayc I just sent them them scan of the inside page. I scanned it and saved it as a pdf so only 512kb.
I have had the sticker for over a year but havn't fitted it yet. This year I have been through France three times for up to a month each time and never needed it.

+1 for using Paint - I'd forgotten that's what I'd done.

Mrplodd I don’t think they will accept a compressed (zip type) file, you just have to make sure the scan is under a certain limit. Just set you scanner at a low resolution, they aren’t worried about quality they just need to confirm the various emmisssion ratings.

If the webpage says the file is too big then, it’s clearly too big!!

Your file size must be huge because the Crit'Air website currently says the maximum size is 10MB.

From memory, it was a far smaller image allowance when I ordered mine on line earlier this year.

Penquin We obviously have the relevant stickers and AFAIK it has not even been looked at yet.....

But I am sure someone, somewhere will have had it checked....

Webby1 Do a search on here and there are various programmes that reduce the file size....................people have also only sent in the middle 2 pages not the full document and still received the certificate.
