aldra Yes

One of Alberts favourite pieces of music also
He says thanks

I remember when we were newly married we bought the complete works of Beethoven
On LPs

We paid for it monthly and were so thrilled to own them

Now I guess we can buy anything we want as our wants are not that great anymore

But I guess the thrill isnít recaptured

But it is remembered

We both love Beethoven

It was our youth

Our introduction to classical music

When we were young

When our world was young

aldra Yep he does

And many piano concertos we love

Because of Dorothy

My teacher

Who adopted me

Not officially

But was there throughout my life

Whose husband was not so sure

But boy did I love him

He gave me away at my wedding

She was great , a middle class , well what ?

No Tv

She taught me music

She taught me walking the fells in the Lake District

And as a kid from the childrenís homes

She taught me love

And never will I forget that person

Who always remained aloof

New middle class

And I could never reach those heights

But I cared for her until the day she died

And she left me money I could never have imagined

But by then I didnít need it

But she left it to me

And on my death my kids

So they will be fine

Because one day as a lonely child

I fell in love with my English teacher

And she with me

JanHank One for you

Didn't you once say Albert liked this bloke ?
03-08-2018 17:18
aldra Nigel K

Was a new guy on the block

He demistified the classical

But some of us just love Beethoven , a teenage love for me

The fifth sympathy

Just like that classical

The pastoral, the sixth

And as a young person

I just loved discovering music Iíd never heard before

And as an oldy

Love the memories it brings back

greygit I posted this earlier but it was missing .

Thanks for those links I loved the second one and I think thatís why I like Kennedy as he is so versatile and such a brilliant musician that he can play anything extremely wellÖÖ..even Hendricks;
