NKC?

All the sites appear at the same time on mine.

Thank you all
I've just got one and it seems really good. But I am still trying to figure out all the things it can do. I may need to start a new thread to get help

jen1986 After a lot of research and deliberation we opted for the avtex tourer one. The reviews seem very good and you have the option to use the sat nav just for the car if your not towing

There are two types of USB leads for the Garmin. One will only charge and the other will fire up the unit indicating connected to the PC.
Or it could be dead.

You can still run a sat nav without the internal battery being able to hold charge as long as its plugged in to the vehicle. I had this on a TT of mine: it wouldn't hold a charge to use it without being plugged in but worked fine when plugged in to the vehicle (or my computer).

Drew I totally agree Andy, my Garmin is the same as a TT.

As I sat here one evening messing about with it, it suddenly died on me with the red battery sign blinking. After recharging it several times without success I decided to purchase a new battery. I have a 2.8A USB/13A charger that I use rather than plug it into my computer, when travelling I always carry a Mophie twin 2.44A USB charger for general use, i.e. iPad, phone etc. I was never in the Scouts, a B.B. man but respected
