Sounds like a good deal. The next best is about £24 for 12 GB for 1 year. Roaming restrictions still apply, i.e. if you use for more than 2 complete months in a rolling 12 month period they may cut you off. Graham
I was just reading some of the reviews and a lot of people said it was lighting fast in the UK but hopeless when used for roaming in a dongle or mifi unit abroad. Really the term "Feel at Home" should be "Feel at Home Slowly".
June 15th remember is supposed to be when Roaming charges are abolished throughout the EU. No announcements from providers yet but as far as I know its going ahead. I suspect they wont announce it until the last minute while people are still signing up for current packages.
It's from Three so they offer 'feel at home' charge system with most countries in Europe covered, so your charges are the same as if you were at home. Have been using their MiFi and data cards for a couple of years now. Yes it can be a bit slow as you are reliant on the local provider, but most of the time it is good.
Signed up for a 24 month contract Huawei E5330 mifi and sim with 3 in October for 20gb for £12/month. This was because I already have another mifi (15gb for £10/month) which I couldn't cancel without a substantial penalty.
So now have 35gb/month for £22.
Both mifi's worked fine in France, Spain and Portugal although some of the 3rd party providers service was a bit slow.
Although 'Speedtest by Ookla' was showing 7mbit/second, was struggling to use Kodi.
I remember 1Gb topup was £10.
Cheers,
Alan
Top Up is a bit of a rip off, imho. Better to buy another sim to carry with you. Graham
