Just naked or clothing optional?

Newbie question - I'm a house/garden/beach naturist but my Wife most definitely isn't.
We are currently in southern Spain, and the sun is beginning to shine - would any of the Naturist sites around here allow my wife to remain clothed whist I enjoy the freedom? I'm quite sure actually that after seeing that not everyone is a stick thin model there, she might get the confidence to give it a go, but in the meantime she's quite happy to be in such a place as long as she can remain clothed.

Yep, have done for 35 years . . .

Just asking anyone who has stayed on one of the Spanish, French or Portugese naturist sites whether they are purely naked only or if clothing is allowed.

At the sites I've stayed at in the UK, clothes are not allowed in certain areas - ie the pool, but are ok elsewhere.

cheers

well on Gran Canaria..... there are beaches where we saw mixed dressed/naked tourists while strolling from Playa del Ingles to Maspalolmas :D
But I have no idea how the situation is on spanish mainland

Nah . . Not for me, it's either too Damn cold or the fish nibble.

I was wild camping not far outside St Trop & wandered (unknowingly) down the beach onto the nudist patch (sic) . . Mostly Germans (big ones) - not a pretty sight, I was nearly sick & it put me off my food for several hours.

I would think
If your wife doesn't mind naked people

But prefers not to be naked
With you happy to be naked

No problem
I'd love it

But don't have the confidence

Should have tried it when I was young

Well I did
Swam naked on the fells, in Greece etc
But no one was around

So you young ones

Do it

It's so liberating

And you deserve it

Sadly, naturism always triggers inappropriate thoughts in some people.

One place that we BOTH enjoyed where the wearing of clothing is totally optional is the Spanish Island of Formentera - but not MH accessible, the beaches at the northern side are superb with long sandy bays and small dunes for those "not quite sure".

But mainland Spain ? Not been there at a time when such an option would have been viable - we generally end up in late autumn or early winter.....

I'm not bothered either way, we were born naked, not sure I want to see lots of flab though, the body can be beautiful, but quite often it isn't, well not in my case anyhoo, I often wondered what going san clobber would be like, so I tried it a couple of years ago when we parked up in a very secluded place in Scotland, warm and thankfully midge free, quite liberating actually, but I don't think I'd dare do it in public, more power to those who have such confidence, Liz gave it minimal effort, but was too shy.

I have a pal who is a dedicated naturist and he invited Mrs Plodd and I to accompany him (AND his Mrs) for a trip only a few days ago!

I asked him this very question, his response was.........

If you wish to wear clothes it is perfectly well "accepted" on naturist sites EXCEPT when swimming (no I have no idea either!!)

He ALSO stated that just about every single person he has ever seen who keeps their clothes on at the start of a visit discards them after about 2 days maximum as they suddenly realise that no-one is interested in what they look like sans clobber !! Which does make sort of sense.

Andy

I am happy to "Give it a go" Mrs P most certainly isnt. Not worth falling out over (gedit?? "falling out"???)

Well for what it's worth

Iwouldnthave the confidence now to go naked

But

Once upon a time I did

Many years ago I swam naked in the med, naked in the tarns in the Lake District

And I tell you, nothing compares to swimming naked

It's what we were meant to do

And yes at the end of the day who the hell who really cares what you look like

And if they do

Do you really care??

You are not seducing them, trying to impress with fantastic bodies

Ok you might be buts that's another story

Once upon a time Albert looked fantastic

I didn't look too bad either

Now, well now it's now

And physically it's not looking that good

But at a much deeper level

He looks just about perfect to me

Naked or clothed

No thank you, no thank you, NO THANK YOU. No appeal whatsoever, to do or to see. I might have been born naked, but that's no reason to perpetuate the situation. Bikini when I was younger and worth an eyeball, but those days are long gone.

Hey Viv now you are 70

The new era, now you are not going to miss swimming naked are you ?

Put it on your bucket list my lovely one

I recon I'll give it another go if I find somewhere secluded

Used to swim naked in Ullswater when we returned from fell walking

It was freezing and we were soon out

Except for the day when some walkers stopped to admire the view(Ullswater not us!!)

Thought I'd die of hypothermia waiting for them to walk on

Err... Yes I am. Perhaps in my next life... Not a water baby anyway. Don't even get my feet wet under 40 degrees.
