javea Filled up today at Auchan 1.29. However, when I tanked up at Super U at Forges les Eaux on Monday it was only 1.26 there.

Morphology According to > THIS < it is 1.293 in the carrefour in Coquelles (BOULEVARD DU KENT), and 1.29 in the Auchan in Calais - much better than when we were there in late April.

joedenise Auchan is usually cheapest around Calais for diesel. We always fill up there because Carrefour isn't high enough for the MH.

dally1 Take it with you. Sometimes, some of the supermarkets have an English section but I've never seen Boddies.

We once scoured France looking for Strongbow, kept visiting all the major supermarkets on our travels, never found any until we visited a small Super U and they had 18 precious cans left, almost out of date and for sale at about 1.50 a can but we just had to have it.

Also, never believe your wife if she says "don't buy it at home as P+O have it on offer" it's all lies. but thats another story.

Buying Boddingtons beer in France

Serious issue I am about to set sail to Le Mans 24 hr race ( 4th June actually)
I will need supplies to sustain me. Question is do I buy in the UK ( being a tight wad want the cheaper prices of France) or take a chance and hope I can get some in France?

I have tried Auchan and Carrefore web site they dont seem to show that detail.

PO ferry confirm they havent got any on the boat from Dover

So is there boddingtons in Carrefore Cite de Europe please ??

PS Will need some diesel Carrefore say its E1.33 litre looking at other posts that seem about OK ... unless people know better??
