Penquin Oh well perhaps I will not make the suggestion that I was going to as he obviously has sorted the problem by himself........

Never mind I am sure that I will be able to post it on another thread at some suitable time in the future and save myself lots of typing now as no-one really has much interest in it........

(With apologies if MrPlodd or Jean wishes to know...... they can always contact me by PM.....)

I take it you've a switch on the panel, to switch on 12v, which doesn't make a difference?

Mrplodd Does the 12v work when you are connected to 230v or is it dead then as well??

I believe the Elektrobloc units are, shall we say, known to be temperamental!! (And expensive to repair) Give me a Sargent unit any day!

12 volt not working

All batteries charged ,fuses ok , all wiring seems ok but still no 12 volt .wont switch on. On Dethleffs esprit 1993 . Has electrblok EBL99F schaudt GmbH 88677 Markdorf. Only thing I havenít tried is the disconnect relay in the transformer/rectifier. Which the handbook says it could be and to contact customer services. The 12 volt has been cutting out after a few hours use since weíve had it , I got rid of a dud battery in the circuit but I didnít make any difference, now after charging on EHU the 12 v wonít switch on ,on the panel . Any help please.
