Sorry to trouble you.
If my memory serves me right you said on here or MHFun that you were a warden at a site in Wells. I am looking at staying at Wells Touring Park, any good? Just want a very comfortable 4 nights and we tend not to use facilities that much. Need to go to W-s-M, Street and possibly Cribbs Causeway.

The newer TT units have a very different interface to the older units which I think yours GO 1005 is one. It will likely take you a while to sort out how it works and if you want any help please don't hesitate to ask as I may have the answers fo you.

One tip I would give you is to set the search option in Settings to Quick Search not Step by Step search as the latter option struggles with Post Codes in rural areas to the extent you will not find some of them.

If you add your own POI files you cannot add a .bmp file to help you identify them on the unit, there are about 6 generic icons you can select but they are only colours so you have to remember what they represent..

I have a GO5000 and I get on well with it, certainly it is better than the Garmin Camper unit re routing and traffic which is what we get them for.
