Hi Jan,
Sorry I've not been about, but thank you for thinking of me. Life's been a bit busy I guess, and I thought taking early retirement would mean things might slow down. No, I seem to have become very much more involved with village life. I am now secretary for our village WI, writing for the local magazine and getting involved with ensuring some of our elderly villagers keep in regular contact with the world.

We are at this moment packing up the van though, and from Thursday evening look forward to 2 whole months of travelling. We are heading through Germany and Poland towards the Baltics. Not sure how far we'll get as we are always slow travellers, but we have a yearning to see those places in the summer months, as previously it was autumn and winter.

I daresay I shall be on here more while we're in the van. In fact I was here yesterday searching for information on how to get an emission sticker for Germany.
