First of all, Happy Christmas.


I have a question to you as a keen carp fisherman over the years - I remember the photos on the Duoro.


It is tradition in Poland to have Christmas dinner on the evening of 24th, and the traditional dish is carp.


I know you usually returned fish to the water, but have you ever eaten carp, and if so what is your opinion of it?

We have only met on forums.


I know you were/are involved with Samaritans, so may I ask a favour to get advice about an old friend who has made one or two worrying moves/remarks recently.


I have previously lost another old friend who jumped under a train in Australia and do not want to miss signs of another such incident.
