Best Aerial For Panel Van Conversion

Not wanting to go down the RoadPro dome route that previous SWMBO had fitted to our Bolero, but I would still like to dip in to the occasional news and weather bulletin, while in the UK, especially around northern Scotland.

What's the latest "best" roof mounted aerial to run my Avtex. The most expensive Status seems to be their 580, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best.

Previous info on the Avtex aerial suggests it's no good much north of the border.

I'd be more inclined to turn the radio on for weather and news, or use an app, TV not good away from cities on MoHo aerials

Cheers Kev, I know I have those options open to me too, as well as occasional site wifi, but I'm still looking for a good aerial,

Ken.

Have you considered a domestic aerial, on a pole, you'd get the best possible then, perhaps with a booster.

No, I prefer the simplicity of having something already set up on the roof, rather than the faff of storing an aerial and pole, then having to assemble each time.
