Hi, I've just bought two of these, one for MH and one we use indoors, we live in a poor reception area but get excellent signal on both. Ebay £39.99p magnetic base.

Its a cracking aerial the avtex, best £40 we ever spent.

Brilliant for anyone planning a pvc build or those without a roof mounted aerial.

Only failed to get a signal in Scotland, ok in Southern Scotland but no good the farther north you went. Great for the rest of the uk.
No holes in the roof, aerial point on the side of the van, bingo.

I have one as again no roof mounted antenna, works well with an avtex tv as the tv provides the power for the antanna via the aerial lead. a seperate 12v supply is also suppled if no avtex tv.
Only failed once to get a picture

We use one of the Avtex Aerials on our motorhome when we can't a satellite signal because of either high winds or trees and the could of times we have used it we have got an excellent picture. Its compact enough to fit into one of our overhead cupboards. The booster takes its power direct from the Avtex TV.
