Hi NPW and welcome to the forum.

I think you will have to give us more information for anyone to help you.

Some Motorhome Hire Companies were recently outed on Fake Britain on BBC1 recently. Mostly about similar problems to yours.

I would contact Trading Standards and also email the details to the Fake Britain programme.

A few others have suffered similar problems.

Is it something that can be pursued through the Small Claims Court?
Local citizens advise bureau can probably answer.

I'm 83 now. Getting old is wonderful, when you consider the alternative.

If you paid it via a credit card then contact the CC company and ask them to refund you.

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if it’s in a caravan!) I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

I find that Companies hate negative posts/feedback on Twitter and tend to respond if you post on their twitter account

coppo and coppo like this.

Before you criticise someone walk a mile in their shoes, that way you are a mile away and have their shoes too

+1 for contacting your credit card company - if that's what you used.

Yes but 7 people on here offered sound advice on how to proceed. Wether the poster is totally in the right or not, perhaps others will be cautious about how they approach the company in question before booking.

So, a Motorhome post and 8 of us talking on a forum that has a serious dirth of relevant core posts. Meant to look at the number of views as well but forgot.
