Silly question but maybe not

Next week I will have a 6.o kw new solar system installed on my roof replacing the 6 panel small system I have at present.
I just wonder if I am able to use some of the old panels from the house and fit them to my motorhome
I would think that solar panels are all the same but I am not sure

I think there is a big difference in weight.

hi
i do not see why you cannot put one on your roof if you have the space

i think that they weigh more because mostly they are in the 180 to 300w output range

i would first wait till you have them on the ground and can look on the label to see what the voltage output is as i think a lot of the panels are around 60v and would need a fancy mppt controller
