Until Microsoft changes everything again. They will decide we need something different and better for us?? I'm begging to hate change.

Something else I need the printer for, to print the Label for Hermes to pick up the buddy weather station I have been trying for nearly 2 hours, yesterday and today, to set up, it tells me it sets the year, no year on here, and its not connecting with the outside monitor because sitting side by side they have different readings, so back it goes on Monday. Only thing I can´t find is the cover that was over the front of the Indoor monitor, it´s disappeared into thin air.

Well most software is subscription based now so it just updates all the time. Office 365 has become the sme industry standard now and also the home version so it will be around forever now but evolving. It's a great platform to be fair. Support is absolutely excellent. I've made a few quid off the back of it so not complaining.

Sounds like your flogging 365 Baz. Your not gonna get me to pay when my old 2007 version is working well for free. Don't want anyone dipping into our cash every month no matter how good.

LOL! No I dont make any commission on it Ray. I could if I chose to but being semi retired its not worth the hassle as you have to support it then and I only deal with a small number of key clients now. Ive done a few transition projects for businesses to 365 though and thats worth a few Scotch vouchers.

Trouble with the older versions is they are no longer supported now. Even v2013 and some 2016 releases will cease to be supported and might not work with 365 email in October this year apparently.

Or Libre Office. Both are reasonably compatible with MS Office. Very similar and of course free and updated.
