Win 10 update took 4.5 hours.

Blooming thing and I was scared stiff not to touch anything even though it says you can continue using the PC. Oh yeah.
Now gotta see what changes Microsoft has made that I need to change back?

Blooming typical. After the update I now have to search for an old password to log onto the PC and also Skype refuses to work. Grrrrrrr.

I know - that's what makes me cross about tech. It's all great while it works.

Whatever happened to.......

“If it ain’t broke (Mr Microsoft) don’t fix it”?

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Sadly Andy cos there are so many flaws and 'holes' in Windows they are constantly fixing. But maybe I would ask why keep changing things back to default?
I now find the phone has reverted to somethings and I have to put back my choices again.

Don’t have any trouble like that on my computer . I tell a fib, they keep messing about with iMovie so when I want to make a video it takes me ages to do it coz something has changed.

How about Skype Jan. Do you use it? Almost every time I get an update my audio changes and Microsoft/Skype selects some speakers I haven't used in years and are no longer connected. Plus it often deselects my mike and we only realise when trying to call family.

I also find the phone changes some default settings like Airplane mode to on and wi-fi to off and Bluetooth and mobile data also. Plus it unselects rotate pictures.
Nothing too drastic except often I don't find out until I try to use these features.
