The "unsubscribe" link is usually right at the bottom of any email they send in small writing! It is usually a hotlink that takes you to their unsubscribe page. There you may have to enter your email address again or it automatically unsubscribes you without further action...it depends on the site.

Some ask the reasons why you are unsubscribing which I always ignore!

Some of those unsubscribe options in the past were a bit dubious. Use them with caution. If its a legit and above board company chances are they will take you off their list but Flybe for example was fined £70000 for targeting people who had hit the unsubscribe button and it also confirms your an active and current email address. In even worse cases the link could well take you to an untrustworthy site so I never bother with them unless I know its taking me to a legit firm that can be trusted.

GDPR is a good thing though (Although its giving me a headache with one charity client). It should reduce a lot of this stuff as it will make it harder for companies to have your consent to send you stuff. No more "Trick" check boxes you have to untick to NOT receive marketing stuff. You will have to opt in deliberately and guess what its all part of the EU Digital Single Market Strategy, the same one that flattened the roaming rates we are now all enjoying (For now). Who would have thought it huh? Some good rules and regs coming out of Europe that dont involve bendy Bananas.

You should find that the bottom of the email has an unsubscribe link as or a way of contacting them to unsubscribe. they have to provide this by law.
Not many people see it thought as its hidden away for obvious reasons but its usually there.
