iCampsites log in problem

I haven't used my iCampsites usb for a while and I am trying to update the contents. I last updated in March 2011.

I have opened the main screen and gone to Settings. When I try and log in with my password I get the message 'Cant select nc-_user 2:disc I/O error Unable to fetch row'[B]

Does anyone know where I go from here, please? I am using a Windows laptop.

That worked a treat. Very clear instructions provided. Thanks.

As we intend heading off in the direction of Wiltshire tomorrow, making random stops, the USB will be invaluable, especially as it works offline.

I very much like the new design for searching campsites via the MHF site - many improvements made. I did like entering the pink radius disc, which now seems to have disappeared, but other features make using the facility much less clunky. Now clicking on a site reference always opens a new window and I don't have to start my search from scratch each time.

Is the Android version for a smart 'phone now up and running? Does it only work if there is an Internet connection available?

It would appear that Android I campsites has been abandoned.
If ever there was a case of Android app users being ripped off then this is it.
Leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth!

thanks for the feedback Autumn,

the Android app development fell by the wayside unfortunately, a couple of deciding factors, initially very limited sales (which is definitive of Android apps overall tbh), and then Googles OS fast development schedule meant we would have had to keep paying developers to update the app (its development was outsourced as its not in our skills to do this sort of work) to allow it to run on newer systems which when no funds were forthcoming from sales didn't make any sense.

I feel for the Android users who want this app, but financially we can't support it. The iPad / iPhone app has always sold well in comparison. (even when the Android app was new and fully working)

No Ripping off involved just plain old economics I am afraid.

Plain bad economics for me to invest my fiver.
How about a discount on next year's MHF subscription by way of compensation?

BTW Android O.S. is now the world leader :P
