Has anyone fitted an OBD locking cover to stop access to the OBD port? Or am i being paranoid?

Well if they're that determined to take it they'll crack steering locks, pedal locks and wheel clamp locks so I wouldn't put too much hope in an OBD lock.

One idea is to swop over one or two wires in the port and have a connector/port which plugs in and corrects the sequence....then you have to hide the extension somewhere.

Ted.
I try and state simple facts in a nice way.

I assume you are looking at preventing theft by someone accessing the OBD and fooling the ECU??

If so my question would be why bother! If they are that sophisticated they are pretty determined and will have your MH away anyway!

Me? I wouldn’t give it a moments further thought and get on with enjoying my life.

chasper and mcpezza like this.

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with
