Forgive me BUT need advice on LMC !

Forgive me I know this is a knaus section but there's nothing on the site covering the LMC marque and as you guys are not Hymer owners you may have looked at the LMC's when you where searching for an alternative to Hymers.... so any help ... German websites etc etc gratefully accepted.

I've seen a few advertised but cant find any real info on them ... any reason why ? [opening the flood gates]

All best
Greg

Hi Greg

I've moved your post to the Geist forum as these vans are from the same manufacturer (Lord Munsterland Caravans).

What do you want to know about them?

AFAIK they're an old established German maker and their products are well respected by the Germans. Maybe not as popular or numerous as Hymer but well build, solid vehicles. Current models are Mercedes based I believe. If you want one you're probably best to look for one in Germany as most of their production will be LHD, they've not been selling direct in the UK for too long I don't think. The ones I've seen have been decent quality and well worth consideration.

Help someone out when they're in trouble and they'll remember you when they're in trouble again.

LMC Cruiser 598

Just recently purchased new LMC Cruiser 598. Have had a few minor problems, nothing major or unsurmounatble. Love the Rear Lounge layout. Seems larger inside and open. Never expected to use the overcab, but it is bigger than I expected, so we use the overcab for sleeping when travelling about, and then once the summer arrives, we plan to use the rear lounge as a bedroom when we can spend all our time outside in the demountable Awning. Would be happy to pass on any comments or guidance to any potential Buyers

We have a Geist Phantom on a Mercedes. The only real problems have been when it we bought it, and it had a complete lack of PDI by the dealers. We ended up involving Geist and they sorted it.
