Houston, the eagle has landed!

Well, not quite Houston, more like the West Midlands and not quite an eagle, more like a Chic.
A Carthago Chic to be more precise and at almost three and a half tones a bit heavier than an eagle.
She arrived at our dealer today and now we wait for toys to be fitted and a date for handover.
Too much excitement.

Richard.

It's a Chic C-Line I 5.0.

Island bed, front drop down bed removed and lockers instead, Alde heating instead of Truma, LHD and auto plus a few other toys.
Made to measure.

Wink

IS this on a three and a half ton chassis (3500kg gvw) ?

A lot of camper does it provide a decent payload

Reason I ask my friend had a shock with a brand new Carthago that he thought was to be rated at 3850kg. But turned out to be built on lightweight chassis with 15 inch wheels giving something like gvw of 3650kg. Which gave only a small useable payload

No, this is on the Maxi chassis rated at 4250Kg but with an upgrade to 4500Kg.
The 'Unladen weight finished factory condition' is 3035Kg so plenty of spare for wine, beer and a little food and clothes.

Richard.
trek and trek like this.

I'm pretty confident that you'll love it!

Wow. I'm surprised they're able to retro fit Alde heating. That must be a major job.
