Hi recently bought this caravan but I have a few issues with it, I need a wiring diagram for it as we have no idea where the loose wires go to, also a door for it as the original one does not fit properly. Does anyone know where I can get one from and what other door would fit it.
The other thing is that there was damp I think inside but it had been patched up, there are signs of it been water damaged near the front window, it had come of the slidey slot and found that of was hanging on by the hinges.
The roof has been patched over with some body filler but still needs re sealing properly around the outside.
There are a few other things that need sorting out on it. For the faults that it has is it or would it be worth fixing up.
I'm a disabled female who can't buy a new caravan or a motor home. So I guess I'm stuck with either fixing it or getting rid of it,which I don't really want to do.

You probably know that this is a forum for motorhomes and not caravans.

I've done a little checking for you and read that Van Royce are now called Van Master. It's probably worth a phone call to them as they may well have copies of the original wiring diagrams.

This is their website:

Best wishes for the phone call !

Hi Demonica

We have a sister site where you will get more focused help with caravans, we're pretty much all motor home owners on here, although some have had caravans in the past.

Good luck

Hi Thank you for your help and advice. Where did the troll bit come from. I know your all motor home owners but at some point you must of had a caravan at some point. I'd love a motor home bit such is life, I just don't have that sort of money.

Don't worry about the troll bit, just hope the little bit of info helps.Have you tried google to see if there might be an owners club or it may be listed in the classic caravans.

We do sometimes get trolls on here, I think it might have been the caravan reference, some do of course come from caravans, but not as many as you might think, we came direct from a tent.

Motorhomes can be cheap, you can also build your own I had no skills but built the one linked to in my signature, lots of help was needed from the self build site SBMCC.co.uk

I hope you find the info you need to sort it out, if not and you need help with the appliances they're pretty common across to motorhomes so a bit of info, model n umber and a piccy and we'll try to help you out, shame you're a tugger though

I did temper my suggestion with an apology, just in case.

The reason for my suggestion was that asking for answers for caravan problems on a motorhome site along with the amount and type of faults you were asking questions about, along with your chosen user name didn't ring true to me.

Perhaps I'm not as trusting as I used to be.

What part of the country are you in, if local to me I'd be happy to take a look, it's just a motorhome in disguise
