A whole year? Gosh, Jan, it seems like just yesterday. How we all tried to keep poor Hans going for you. But it was not to be
I would say that you come across as resilient rather than tough. But that is the you that we are allowed to see. Keep you troshin' gal.

Pat, I had to look that up but no doubt Jan would know it

For others it literally means 'Keep threshing', but in Pat's context is used as 'keep going, look after yourself'

Jan, it's been a tough year but you've done so much to be proud of. And you have a much better idea of your direction of travel - it takes guts and determination, solo, to get to that point.

I do hope you enjoy your journey in the MH - where are you heading? Hope you take your WiFi with you then we'll all be with you in spirit and on here!

Good luck with it!

Thank you Jean, that really is a lovely thing to say.

I don't know how long 8 th will last, but that's what I have for my mifi from Lidl.
I will first be heading North to Henriettendorf where I will be relying on gas to make sure I don't have a Barryd incident, it's only 40 mins away. I have the idea to make a big half mood around Berlin, not going anywhere near it, then down to Heike, pick her up when she decided to have her holiday in September and she has suggested the Harz so any tips in that area ?

Lovely post Jan. 2 years for me. Where has the time gone? We've been so preoccupied with this year's changes and worries, who's had time to think normally? Onwards and upwards. Enjoy your trip. I just wish I could get to France. I can of course but the uncertainty of possoble future developments and consequences is holding me back.

You have both done fantastically well

You Viv I know a bit better than I know Jan, I’ve seen and touched you, spent time with you

Talked face to face where misunderstandings can be explained, and smiles can be seen

When grandkids can cook with you and give you the thumbs up

And I feel that would be also true of Jan

You are both so brave and have my honest admiration

Even though I wear purple

Would I be so brave
