John Noakes RIP

Announced today that he has died aged 83

I am sure that all of us will remember him *and Sheo) for his long lasting part in Blue Peter - certainly for mehe was a real inspiration as he tackled everything.

I know that Dementia had taken a very serious toll of late, he was living in Majorca I believe and had gone mssing at times....

Very sad demise to a great person.

RIP

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Yes, shame.

Alzheimer’s has a lot to answer for.

WARNING.!!... The above post may contain an opinion

Academia and government artificially select for particular traits, among which is a lack of life experience. This is why it's possible for a person to be exceptionally bright while failing to grasp something as rudimentary as supply and demand.

Intellectuals: All engine, no map.

The BBC has just done a nice tribute to him on the BB News, he apparently portrayed that character as an act, very successfully IMO. BUT he said he was under-paid, under insured and over-worked - this was all before H&S imposed the estrictions it did.

Get down Shep inspired a vast number of quotes or out-takes...

Yes, sadly missed and RIP.
Another one bites the dust. There can't be many left.

Ray.

The FSA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life´s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. http://raynipper.com
