I remember a VERY boozy afternoon with a drunken Dutch/ Belgium group waiting for the Tour de France to come through, all I can remember was Allo Allo, Faulty Towers and Dad's Army being re-enacted between us for a least 3 hours, The group were great fans of those shows.

WARNING.!!... The above post may contain an opinion

Academia and government artificially select for particular traits, among which is a lack of life experience. This is why it's possible for a person to be exceptionally bright while failing to grasp something as rudimentary as supply and demand.

Intellectuals: All engine, no map.

It could be the best care home in the world, but I hope I never get to the stage when I have to go in it.
So am I Jan

The person being taken care of

You don't think the carers take care of themselves?.

We all hope we neverneedto go into a care home

Most won't need to but some will

I think the will to live may well take precedence at that moment

Or even the desire not to cause our our relatives to care for us full time

I love my kids, I don't want them caring for me

But sharing in my care

Yes, a classic and many Allo Allo catchphrases will remain almost in common use.
Very sad and maybe that blow to the head could have shortened his life.

The FSA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life´s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. http://raynipper.com

Portuguese TV have just shown a long tribute to Gordon Kaye.
He must have given enjoyment to millions.

I'm not signing anything.

The two impulses in travel are to get away from home, and the other is to pursue something - a landscape, people, an exotic place. Certainly finding a place that you like or discovering something unusual is a very sustaining thing in travel.
