Storage near Cherbourg

Now our van has been finally sold. We have a large barn that's standing empty. If anyone would like to rent it with or without electricity please let me know.

Ray.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our lifeīs savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

Ray

I am meeting a pal next Tuesday (fellow tugger) who is looking for caravan storage. He lives in Lincoln and is fed up with towing to France all the time as he doesnít use it in the U.K. He uses the tunnel as he doesnít like Ferries. What do you reckon the drive time is from Calais to yours so I can see if your offer is of interest to him (it might be too far from him, but if I donít ask him I will never know.

Can you email or P.M. Me with a few details (like cost) he will be looking at a long term deal I will PM or email you once we have met up (at Valery Sur Somme) and had a few beers.

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, itís in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

OK Andy.
As it happens it's about 4.5 hours drive and 470km. to Calais, so a little distant although good roads.

Will pm.

I wouldn't have thought you could tow a caravan 470 km in 4.5 hours without breaking the speed limit, I would need at least one half hour rest and 100 kmph with caravan is not realistic.

No Jan.

The caravan stays (in storage) at Cherbourg (the point of this thread) and you drive your CAR from Calais in 4.5 hrs !! Totally feasible.

It's late Andy , but 4.5 hours without a break is not good even without the caravan.
I'll keep quiet.
