Storage

I have been looking for a new storage company for the van as where I am now, I am not too happy with. I had to contact them to inform them their Cassoa membership had lapsed and to be honest the approach to the storage area reminds me of a road in Beirut, plus the weeds and moss etc growing all around the vans is not ideal.

I found another storage company nearer to us and £100 a year cheaper and you can pay monthly at no extra cost. 24-7 access, washing area with compressor etc, fully tarmaced, security fencing, cctv, barriers, the whole 9 yards and also a gold member of Cassoa (standards can be vastly different between gold members) but why, is beyond me.
Anyway I contacted them informing them of my unhappiness with the storage I have at present, which only expires in late May. He was a lovely chap and immediately offered me free storage up to the date my current storage ends and then I would start paying.

For obvious reasons I will not name my new storage company until I am safely installed as storage spaces are as available as rocking horse droppings ! I was very impressed by their website and am inspecting the site in a week, so I will keep you all posted.

That is the very reason that I have not/would not consider any property where I cannot/could not store my MH or caravan alongside/behind my house.

I accept that I have probably, over the years, paid a lot more for some houses than I needed to, but that was my choice.

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, itís in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Well we now have our storage pitch reserved at Storit in Croft Lincolnshire. And will be removing our Mo from the storage in Dinnington. It is 1000 times better and £100 a year cheaper and in my opinion a hell of a lot more secure.

Terry the manager there is a lovely chap and really helpful. Ford even store their unregistered cars there it is that safe.
