Storage in france ,can collect from ports if required

Near Granville in Normandy ,or one hour from Cherbourg and one and a half from Caen and 2.6 hours from Le Harvre.

We can also pick you up and drop you off as required.

Also a great place to stay ,it's a 25 acre farm in total peace and quiet surrounded by a grade a trout steam.

Fees to be talked about.

Might be insurance issues for those with UK based insurance and obtaining French insurance would not be possible AFAIK as you have to prove local residency with utility bills etc. if intending to re-register onto French plates.

When I originally looked into such a suggestion before we moved out here, the insurance companies said a big NO as the vehicle would be out of our supervision.

It might be difficult to sort such things out, so be aware before committing yourself - check your insurance companies wording for the policy.

Sorry if that is a bit of a damp squib, but it is best of all are aware and hopefully the OP can come back and assure us that it can all be sorted easily.

Thinking of; Mavis, Ray, Sandra and Albert at this time.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Blatant advertising, could be a scam to relieve you of your van too.

My experience with MHF insurance is that the site has to be secured, residents on site. They check on google earth too. They gave me grief about a storage I'd booked in Edinburgh and I had to make a plan B urgently. But NOBODY wants to do short term storage. I know of a site they approve of in France which I've used short term several times.

Give the guy a chance! Tell us a bit more Zonk, others may be interested. Apart from storage it may be an interesting stop over for some for a night or two if you have fishing and in a nice location.

You could try Sandra, but almost anyone can set up a website these days, or print letter heads, so anyone can con you, this member may well be genuine, and of course would claim to be even if not, so it is safest to assume e the worst while trying to get the bonafides sorted out.

I just thought it a bit suss to only register, but not subscribe, then lead into the advertising bit.
