laika ecovip 400 step wiring diagram

Hi all does anybody have a wiring diagram for a laika ecovip 400 step. I have the Laika and step was removed to repair floor and uncovered a poor repair to the wiring direct to battery no using micro switches.
Got all working then fitted to floor of van and now its not working, found a earth wire bare so think its shorted out. I cant find the fuse for the step so the diagram would be useful.

If any body can help would be great.

Cheers

Darren

No reply so far. I'm wondering whether your steps are the ubiquitous Thule variety, in which case a circuit diag can be found on the Thule website for double steps.. Ignore the foreign language and proceed to the very end.
In a nutshell.... 12v from the ignition switch to lamp and/or buzzer on one side, then other side to earth line towards microswitch above the steps. No fuse, no relays unless its the automatic variety.
Steps up: microswitch operated, earth line broken, lamp out.
Steps not fully up: microswitch released, earth line made, lamp lights.
With ignition /motor running, and steps down, you should find chassis earth on the line going to the microswitch. from the dashboard.
This line should go to 12V when the steps are fully raised and the lamp should go out, with 12V each side of it so nothing to drive it.
I hope that makes some sort of sense !
