Truma Boiler/heater failure

My Truma would not turn on for heating the other weekend although it would heat the water. By a process of elimination I concluded that it could only be the room thermostat so I removed the wires from that and the heating woreked fine, albeit flat out!
A new thermostat cost a whopping £41 but this proved an easy self fix. So if your blown air heating packs up try testing the thermostat by pulling it out of the wall and disconnecting one wire, before resorting to expensive workshops.
