Hymer B754 can't lock the lower external lockers

All of the lockers close and the key turns in the lock, but the handles don't stay pushed in and they don't lock
Any ideas?
The central locking works just fine

Regards,
Mike

Try undoing the locks, then while still open relock the handles, then just push them closed, it worked on mine, however with no pictures we will be guessing a cure.

Personal Aire
On ours I turn the key to pop the handle out. I then relock the lock straight away. Then I twist the handle to disengage the mechanism from the MH side wall; then open the door.

To close I shut the door; twist the handle to re-engage the side of the MH; and then push in to lock. Simliar to the advice above.

When I've had that problem I've found it to be a build up of dirt on the various parts of the catch.
Are you sure the lock part actually works i.e. actually engages with the catch mechanism, I have also found pushing the handle inwards whist operating the key will help.

I do this but best have key on lanyard or you could place keys in locker to free up a hand and then lock locker.

OP could try spraying around handle with silicone dry spray.

This was resolved by propping the lockers open, dousing the locks with WD40, letting it soak in, jiggling the locks then closing with a firm thwack. All of the external lockers were affected. Thanks for all the posts!
