Ducato LHD gearbox linkage

I have a 1993 Fiat Ducato based LHD Concorde motorhome, 2.5 turbo diesel with 5-speed manual gearbox. On gear linkage that connects the long bar from the column change at the top of the gearbox there are two M8 bolts, one an Allen cap head and one a hex head.her At either end of both bolts is a nylon cup washer, 30mm outside diameter and 16mm with a hole in the centre for the M8 bolt, that's a total of 4 of these cap washers. While servicing the linkage it appears that one of the cup washers is almost on the point of collapse and I need a replacement, preferably 4 replacements as I'd like to change the other 3 at the same time. But it seems that these cup washers are unobtainable from all of the usual parts sources. Does anyone out there know where these cup washers can be had? Even a good used one would be welcome. I've attached a pic of the dismantled linkage, The collapsing cup washer can be seen top left. Any help gratefully accepted.

Hi Rob, Welcome to the forum.

If you can't find a supplier, might I suggest that you obtain a length of Nylon Rod and have 4 made. An ten minute job for someone with a lathe.

They sound a bit like Belleville washers. Bellevilles are usually hardened (like a spring, as that is one of its uses) but would be OK for your application. This site has a varied selection of washers and an email might get you exactly what you need.

Hi Rob and welcome to MHF. Hopefully, if you do find a supplier you will come back and let us know as we have a few members running 90s vans.
