Rapido 9Series: removing indicator from mirror?

The indicator mounted on my 2002 mirror housing has (been) broken off (possibly by some scoats).

Does anyone know how to replace it please?
(I managed to buy the necessary item and can see that it is held in place by a spring.)

Thanks - Gordon

I expect you tried youtube as I just did, and found nothing to help.

Unless someone has the same mirror and has replaced one, which I havenīt, I imagine itīs difficult to help you.

I fixed one on the Fiat Ducato which is different all together to yours.

Sorry no help, but makes you visible to others.

Is there a Rapido Facebook page? I found great help from the Hymer Owner's Group when I'd a leaking garage.

That style of lamp does normally just push into its holder and is retained via the spring clip.
To remove the old one, it usually is necessary to insert a thin flat device (flat blade screwdriver of small scraper) under the outer edge and simply prise it away from its housing, your old one appears to have a fair amount missing, so you may need to use a small flat blade driver to get a grip on the edge of what is left and prise out.
There appears to be a fair amount of corrosion around it and that may be holding the lamp as well as the clip, you might even have to destroy what remains to get it out.
