Habitation 12v Socket

I have bought a car vacuum for my 2018 Elddis 185.
I have plugged in the cab auxiliary 12v socket and turn ignition key to battery and the vacuum works.

I then tried it plug in the habitation 12v socket expecting power from the leisure battery but no power, the power for leisure was switched on had lighting ,but nothing from the 12v auxiliary socket?
Any ideas.

How many amps does the vacuum need and how many are being supplied through the hab 12v socket? Not all 12v sockets are the same. I know this as well from a Ford Galaxy we used to have. It would power an inverter quite happily from the dashboard socket to keep a laptop charging but wouldn't manage at all from either of the rear sockets - even though they would power less demanding devices.
