On our Arto one of the lights over the kitchen has had progressively failing problem of the switch, which now has no positive action and which is 'floppy' and does not turn on the light.

My question is how to extract the whole unit? There are no screws on the plate. Does it 'spring' out on clips? - I am relucant to prise too hard unless I know this is the correct method.

Does one have to empty the cupboard above and remove the 'floor' of that cupboard to gain access?

Geoff, they look the same as our lights in the Hobby. As I remember they twist anti clock 5* and drop out. Sorta bayonette into a metal frame like smoke detectors.
