Mirror now folds as it should .

I could not sort it and not a lot beats me normally but I could tell after stripping it down that it was going to be a bit of a beggar to sort.

Took the easy route and just swooped the folding frame part off a damaged one I could managed to get hold of.

Right whats next.................

Repair the original and keep as spare.

The original was in bits apart from the frame so not possible or worth repairing .

Anyway long story but was a borrowed broken mirror so had to be returned to my loaner with now my not so good frame with it.

I am just happy mine is now folding fully in case i get my self in a french village again....

I had an issue with our offside door mirror after only having the van for 3 months from new. It was always harder to fold in until SNNNAP !!! it broke when I forced it in. A bolt inside had sheared off. Peugeot at first said it was wear and tear BILLHOOKS was my reply, eventually they gave in and replaced the full mirror F.O.C.. Back in 2010 it cost over £200 for the full mirror unit.

Dave just to let you know depending on if it has the aerial in it ( some nearside UK ) of a temp sensor ( some UK off side ) they can be over £400 now .
