Here St Nic is celebrated widely - we had a recent fair in our local town where St Nic arrived and went around the square on horseback.....

BIG ERROR

He had obviously had a few too many sherries during the day (or whiskys, red wine or whatever).

Going round a simple corner sadly he and the horse (a very placid animal) parted company and he decided to head butt the cobble stones..... the cobble stones won.

He had a great cut so his head now matched his clothes and it was impossible to rule out an underlying injury as he was well out of it - so an ambulance was called.....

Big problem number 2 - he was one of the Pompier responsible for crewing said ambulance.

But he was eventually carted off still in full regalia.... the children were NOT amused as he gives out the pressies and sweets to those who have been good and a piece of coal to those that have not.....

So St Nic went down well that year - too well really.... 😁😂
JanHank likes this.

Thinking of; Mavis, Ray, Sandra and Albert at this time.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.
