Can anyone recommend a good insurer ?

I am currently with Advance, they are terrible, I have tried GoCompares motorhome comparison site but half I have never heard of.

Cheers

I found Caravan Guard quite good.

Caravan Guard here too. I was not impressed, however, to get no discount for the Cat 4 tracker that is fitted

Comfort, they are underwritten by Aviva. I used them for many years when I ran a MH.

A quick Google search using “Motorhome Insurance” brings up a fair few options.

Another option is to go to a broker and let THEM do the work!

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Another vote for Comfort - whenever I've shopped around they've been very competitive on price and I've always found their customer service very good. Fortunately not had any claims experience but Aviva is a reputable insurer.

Yup, never claimed but Comfort always competitive and good service on administration side

NFU are worth a try - though I’ve heard they can be a bit hit and miss depending on which branch you call (the branches are independent). NFU at Shrewsbury have been excellent for me.
CaravanGuard used in the past - excellent, but unable to quote acceptably for our current motorhome (they wouldn’t let us keep it at home - insisted on secure storage).

Regards,
John

If only I could think of an original, witty signature . . . this is where it would be . . .
