MH insurance renewal.....result.

My MH renewal with C&MC is due at the end of the month. I called to discuss the renewal premium as I thought a 13% increase was a little steep. We went through the policy to see if anything had changed. I was then asked if my wife was a frequent or infrequent driver. Now I have never been asked this before & she is really only on the policy as a precaution. When I answered that my wife was indeed an infrequent driver the advisor adjusted the detail & the result was a £34 reduction. Now that is what I call a result but strange I have never ever been asked this question by any insurer anytime.

Did you get any comparisons this time around Dave?

Which ever way you look at it, we are MUCH BETTER OFF in the EU than outside!

Who is the underwriter for C&MC?

That's strange because my car insurance - admittedly years ago - said they gave better rates if there were 2 of you on the policy. Presumably on the understanding that if 1 of you was tired, or had a drink, the other could take over.
